Hello,
I get the Disconnected from iChat Agent error message whenever I attempt to log on to my aim account. My iChat was working perfectly fine, up until I decided to add my aim account to another iChat on a different computer. (aka, my computer at work) When I added it to the second mac, I started getting that error message and now I cant log on to iChat with my aim account at all. I know it's a problem with my account, I've been on the phone with apple and we've tried many things. We tried deleting the plists, reinstalling, different port numbers and options, and none of it has worked. I tried logging in with a dummy account that I made on AIM and that worked fine. My .mac account also logs in on iChat.
So, since this seems to be an account problem, has any one else had this problem or have any insight? I can log on to my account on aim express, meebo, and the aim for mac client, just not iChat.
