mobileme vs dot mac chat id ...

I still use my .mac chat id (as I pay for the mobile me). When .mac changed to .me, those who were paying dot mac people where able to continue using .mac. So, my ichat is my dotmac id. Now, does this mean that, if I want, I still have an available .me id can use as my chat id?? If so, by paying, you are able to get a certificate. My dot mac version has a secure certificate. Does that mean if I create and use my .me chat name, I can get a secure certificate for that one too? Can you have two??
