Unable to Delete Buddy Group ...

Some months back I was requested to create a chat for myself and a group of friends. Well, it took some time to figure it out, but now I, and for that matter, all the buddies invited, cannot delete this group chat. I try every way I can think of, every way suggested in the user guides, and it pops back up in under two seconds. Every. Time. I use an AIM account on iChat, if that makes a difference.

I've seen similar questions by other people in this forum, but either no one has answered them, or the answers are frustratingly in the back of the search results.

Please, how do I remove this chat once and for all?
